1. What is your stageplay about?

Two deadly sins, Lust and Gluttony, are bored with their daily routine. So they decide to mix things up by switching places, which means a sudden glut of erotic bakeries and a Japanese sumo wrestler being named the equivalent of People’s Sexiest Man Alive. Creatively restored by the switch, Lust and Gluttony talk the other sins into following suit, which throws the world out of balance and attracts the attentions of the virtues. Who are nobody’s idea of a picnic.

2. Why should this play be produced?

It probably shouldn’t – it’s got a very large cast, casts…

DRACONUM – Transcript of the Novel by Sebastian Halford

WILDsound Festival

Watch the Transcript Reading of DRACONUM:

Reading performed by actor Geoff Mays

Get to know writer Sebastian Halford:

1. What is your novel about?

My novel is about a young dragon who is forced to flee when the lair he shares with his mother comes under attack. Sanctuary lies in a small community of humans nestled in the foothills of a vast and towering mountain range, where the young dragon’s father serves as guardian.

2. Why should this novel be read by anyone?

I wanted to write a book where dragons are integral to the story – front and center, so to speak, and not in the periphery. If this sounds appealing, give it a try, you might like. And if you don’t, well, that means you might have a book in you that could be better. We’ve all had that “I could write a better book than this!” moment…

Get to know writer Pamela Green:

1. What is your screenplay about?

My screenplay skims the early life of my dad, Everett House, as he grows up in a poor, Christian home during the 1930’s and 40’s, and then basically covers his years spent in a mental institution, where he undergoes shock therapy and other atrocious psychiatric practices during the 1950’s. It also reveals God strategically planting him there at this particular time in history in order to hinder the antichrist from setting up his beast system too soon, and it leaves Everett with a divine promise and mandate for his future, that one day his testimony from the…

NORTH HALL – Transcript of the Novel by Julian Lev

WILDsound Festival

Watch the Transcript Reading of NORTH HALL:

Reading performed by actor Geoff Mays

Get to know writer Julian Lev:

1. What is your novel about?

North Hall is about a psychiatric Forensic Unit where sanity is determined before a criminal trial. The results of an assessment can be the difference between a defendant being sent for treatment or to prison, if convicted. Dr. Ligget, the psychologist who does the assessing, reserves his harshest judgment for himself. Physically and mentally scarred, his crime was being the sole survivor of a house fire that killed his family. His self-imposed sentence keeps him laboring in the cavernous halls alone, as an untouchable, until he is confronted by Jennifer Stanley, who is accused of murdering her son. Her beauty and ingenuous manner spark his hostility, yet are beguiling, drawing him out of himself only to get caught in wider, unexpected webs.

2. Why should…
