ABOUT THE PRODUCTION:
“Chateau Sauvignon: terroir” went into production near and around Hudson Valley, New York, in the spring of 2014. It was shot on the RED Scarlet in 5 days, primarily at Benmarl Winery, with a pick up day at Clinton Vineyards. “Chateau Sauvignon: terroir” is Michael Lorz’s (Nicholas) film screen debut. Anthony del Negro (Anthony) initially auditioned for the role of Nicholas. Adrienne Stern, known for “Broken English” (2007), “The Believer” (2001), and “Hellraiser” (2005), was the casting director for the film. Additionally, the film’s Special FX were helmed by head of the makeup department for NBC’s “The Blacklist” (2013-present), Anthony Pepe, also known for his work on “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” (2013) and “Sharknado 2: The Second One” (2014). Both Adrienne and Anthony worked together on Jeff Lieberman’s 2004 debut feature “Satan’s Little Helper”! “Chateau Sauvignon: terroir” was awarded a post-production grant from McDonalds. “Chateau Sauvignon: terroir” is the third short film written, directed and produced by David E. Munz-Maire.

NANCY NAGRANT
as Katherine, a victim
Nancy is an actress known for her principal role on “Delivery Man” (2013) with Vince Vaughn, and Steven Soderbergh’s “Side Effects” (2013) alongside Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones. She has additionally co-starred in Netflix’s “House of Cards” beside Kevin Spacey, as well as CBS’s “Hostages” with Dylan McDermott and Toni Collette. Nancy trained at Western Michigan University, receiving a BA in Theater Performance and Psychology. She is managed by Prestige Management, and represented by Metropolis Artists Agency and Lauren Green Agency. ANTHONY DEL NEGRO as Anthony, a victim Anthony Del Negro was born and raised in Belleville, New Jersey. He is a big fan of horror films, and was cast in “Slink” (2013), as well as having appeared in two Chiller productions: 2012’s “Dead Souls” and 2014’s “Deep In the Darkness.” His resume of horror/ thriller films continues to grow as he portrays various characters in the feature films “Monsters on Main Street,” “Parlor,” and “Dark Haul,” each slated to be released in late 2014 and 2015. He will also be appearing alongside Tom Sizemore in SYFY’s “Dark Haul” later this year (2014), as well as Lifetime’s “The Case Against Sam.”

Sean Weil is a professional actor with over 25 years experience in the industry. He appeared as Liam in the first season on the critically acclaimed, Emmy Award winning HBO series “Boardwalk Empire,” and also appeared in CBS’s “Blue Bloods” and NBC’s “Law & Order.” With numerous film, television and theatre credits, he has portrayed a variety that earns him the title of a true character actor. He is represented by Soiree Fair Talent.
POOYA MOHENSI
as Eartha, the mother
Born in Tehran, Iran, Pooya moved to New York when she was in her teens. She studied textile design and fashion styling at The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) where she received a BFA in Fabric Styling. She started singing and acting on stage and in short films in 2009.
MICHAEL LORZ
as Nicolas, the son
Introducing Michael Lorz, an actor from Shorewood, Illinois, living in New York City. He studied musical theatre at NYU’s TIsch CAP21 studio, receiving a BFA in Musical Theater. “Chateau Sauvignon: terroir” is Michael’s debut film appearance. Having most recently played in family-friendly theatre, embodying “a murderous psychopath was thrilling, to say the least.” He is represented by Abrams Artists Agency.
