Roderick Usher is a struggling portrait painter in 1880s Providence, Rhode Island. After meeting the beautiful Ligeia, a poet, muse and force of nature in her own right, Usher learns of a deadly technique that enables him to produce “life-like” portraits. After falling in love with Ligeia he is commissioned to paint her portrait. Usher is faced with an awful choice. Is he willing to kill the one he loves in order to gain artistic immortality? But Ligeia may be carrying an even darker secret.

A psychological thriller with one location, told in real time

Because it’s exciting, touching, funny and fascinating.

Dark, funny.

A little over a year.

Two dozen features, nine drama pilots, six shorts.

None. I’ve been doing this for a few years. At first it was tricky writing something that took place in one location, but I got over it.

Music, art, books, my partner and my animals.

Given the glowing comments, very happy, humbled and honored.
After the tragic loss of her husband in a line of duty shooting, Detective Joan Fortune collapses and loses their unborn child. In the ensuing weeks, Joan’s life begins to crumble around her as she desperately tries to find the drug lords responsible for her husband’s murder. Things change for Joan when a local priest brings in a three year old girl who was left abandoned at his church. Joan’s heart melts upon meeting her.

The book written by, Ronald J. Van Wynsberg, is an awesome read… If done right, I think it could rival with other cult classics like ‘Halloween’ or ‘Friday the 13th’… It has all the elements of a supernatural horror with an ending no one sees coming.
